  • Individual Therapy - My outpatient practice provides individual therapy that is tailored specifically to the individual.  You and I work together as a team to identify and utilize your individual strengths to create a treatment plan and goals that are in line with the positive changes you want to make.
  • Family Therapy - I work with families to improve communication between family members, identifying obstacles to creating harmony, learning the art of negotiation and finding solutions to problems.
  • Parent Support - Parents often need support and education when they have a child or loved one who is suffering.  I provide support, psychoeducation, and resources to parents and other family members in need of support.
  • Group Therapy - Group therapy has been found to be effective in addressing many of the contributing factors to eating disorder behaviors.  My “Doing Life” group for adult women focuses on identifying the underlying causes that drive the eating disorder behaviors, and increasing personal and social acceptance.   Please contact my office for dates and times of other groups being offered.
  • Peer Consultation - Consultation can be a critical component to developing a treatment plan for treating eating and other complex disorders.  I meet regularly with other professionals for case consultation, and I am available by appointment for consultation with other therapists who have clients with eating disorders.  Consultation may include a level of care assessment, treatment planning and goal setting, confronting resistance in treatment, and local and national resources available to those with eating disorders.
  • Parent Workshops - I provide workshops for parents of an adolescent or adult child with an eating disorder.  This workshop focuses on improving understanding about eating disorder issues, improving communication between family members, treatment options, contributing factors and triggers to eating disorder behaviors, and local and national resources for getting help.
