Treatment for eating and other disorders is multi-faceted.  Finding the right therapist, and the right treatment approach is critical to recovery.  There is not one treatment approach that works for everyone.  Research studies continue to evaluate new approaches and help us to identify the most effective treatment options available today.

It is my intention to provide you with well-known, widely used, evidence-based treatment approaches.  I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Dialetical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic, Family Based Therapy (FBT), Family Systems, Solution-Focused, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Strength Based therapies as deemed appropriate for an individual or family.  My philosophy of treatment is to find the approach that will best fit your needs and goals.

For all clients I do a full assessment to evaluate your specific needs, determine what has and has not worked in the past, and utilize your strengths to determine the best approach.  If appropriate, I may recommend other professionals with specialized expertise to develop the most effective team possible to support the recovery process for you or your family member. Most importantly, you and I will work as a team to develop the treatment plan that will work best for you.

Healing and recovery is an ongoing process of making peace with the past, embracing and living in the current moment, and creating the life you want to live.

This is a Culturally Diverse Practice.  All ages, sizes, ethnicities, sexual and gender expressions are respected and welcomed.
